We booked this hotel because of it's proximity to the train station but didn't realize that's an area you want to avoid due to junkies, crime etc... We never felt threatened but we didn't feel completely safe either. The room was clean but small and the staff was friendly but they can't change the area around the hotel. We spent one night here and when we left there was human feces on the sidewalk right outside the hotel. I would not return.

Super bad location, full of drug addicted homeless smelly people hanging around the hotel. Rooms are tiny, upon arrival 3pm, rooms still not ready. FO staff could not handle group checkin! Breakfast ok, but nothing overwhelming. Booked for 2 nights, but checked out after first night. Do yourself a favor, don’t stay here!!!

I paid quite a lot of money to stay in this hotel, and there are a number of things I did not see enjoy, based at least on expectations and the cost - The bar did not open in the evening, you have to go next door - The Steam Room was not working - You had to request an additional card to get into the steam room - One lift regularly did not work, and you have to try the both lifts on different sides of the lobby to get to your room - The toilet is behind the bathroom door and awkward to use at night - The hot water is boiling hot, and the cold tap very stiff - The bed is a small double, and the blanket/duvet is not large enough to cover an average sized male - There was no complimentary water refill in the room Overall, a poor experience given the cost and the size of the hotel on this occasion. I would have expected better, and often have in budget hotels. On the plus side, the location is good, and the staff are friendly, and the breakfast offerings are reasonable.

Surprisingly good Hotel. Fresh Breakfast with hot items available. Reception is cooperative . Fruits near the lobby always for guests. Walk across to the central station from the safe side Not on the dark side of Frankfurt Would stay again but in a time when prices are more reasonable not fair time

Nestled right next to Frankfurt's Central Train Station, The Metropolitan Hotel by Flemings stands as a beacon of charm and convenience. As a seasoned traveler, I appreciated its prime location, offering effortless access to the city's myriad attractions. The front desk staff, a blend of professionalism and warmth, adeptly managed my every request, enhancing my stay remarkably. The rooms, a harmonious blend of space and comfort, surprised me pleasantly. I opted for a street-facing room and discovered the windows' exceptional ability to mute the bustling city sounds. A highlight was the bathroom, equipped with a luxurious tub that added a touch of indulgence to my stay. Modern amenities like versatile outlets and a mini-fridge for chilled beverages met all my needs. Fitness enthusiasts will revel in the hotel's well-equipped gym and sauna located on the 6th floor. Every detail, from the plush beds to the immaculate condition of the hotel and the staff's meticulous attention, underscores its excellence. In summary, The Metropolitan Hotel by Flemings is not just a stay; it's an experience. A return visit? Absolutely, when I find myself in Frankfurt, Germany, again.
